What did you study and when did you graduate?
I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics, graduating in June of 2017.
What did you do as a CEN8 volunteer?
I worked on workshops that were targeted at the mothers of the CEN8 children. Thereafter, I was involved in the elaboration of the yearly CEN8 art exhibition, where I also took part in the curation process.
What was the most useful thing you learnt by being a volunteer?
I have learnt about some of the challenges that Non-Profits experience and how many different points of view can work together towards the same goal.
What was the best thing about volunteering?
The best thing is being able to do something you wholeheartedly believe in.
What have you been up to since leaving Goldsmiths?
I have been modelling throughout Europe and Brazil, as well as working on a project with the Red Cross that focuses on the integration of female refugees in Zurich.
Has/how volunteering for CEN8 impacted on you since you left?
It has made me want to stay involved with volunteering.
What career advice would you students currently at university?
Keep your eyes open towards different opportunities: you never know when you might bump into something that will inspire you.
